Victory Squad Fails, Members Missing

Following a dramatic and destructive raid on a superhuman prison convoy, a dozen elite guards were hospitalized and three members of the world-famous supergroup Victory Squad have gone missing.
Lady Liberty, Anfial and Johnny Rocket were escorting meta-human prisoners Rant and Rave to the high tech holding facility Golgotha when the convoy was attacked. According to Sgt. Barton of the FCPD, at least three meta-humans were involved in the attack, although none of the assailants have been positively identified.
Witnesses also reported swarms of enormous insects, and many of the guards shows signs of bites and stings with biological toxins.
Police are at loss to explain the breaches in security that revealed the time of departure to the assailants. Similarly, Golgotha warden Dr. Strom Steel has yet to reveal how his high tech cloaking and radar systems were bypassed.
The Invisible Hand, the remaining active member of the Victory Squad, has declared that he will get to the bottom of the attacks, although he declined to specify exactly how he planned to do so by himself.
“We all took an oath to uphold justice and defend the people of Freedom City, and I shall honor that promise,” said Invisible Hand in a statement released to the press.
